Abstract

A range hood capable of sufficiently developing an air curtain function for cutting off exhaust gas and indoor air so that they are not mixed with each other. A second fan (20) is disposed at the front inner portion of a hood body (30) and an inlet for introducing the indoor air (70) into the hood body (30) is formed in the hood body (30) positioned above the second fan (20). An air supply nozzle (40) extending from the second fan (20) to the front lower face of the hood body (30) is formed at the front inner portion of the hood body (30) so as to face a diagonally lower indoor side. Thus, the range hood (100) capable of sufficiently developing the air curtain function for cutting off the exhaust gas and the indoor air so that they are not mixed with each other can be provided by tilting the direction of the air jetted from the outlet of the air supply nozzle (40) to the outside relative to the flow of the exhaust gas (50) rising from a cooking appliance (210) and pans (220).
