Abstract

The present invention is to provide a die-casting magnesium alloy which improves high-temperature creep performance without reducing room-temperature strength, and to provide a magnesium die-cast product made of the same alloy. Elements of 0.1 to 2.0 wt.% silicon, and at least one of 0.1 to 1.2 wt.% misch metal including a rare earth element and 0.2 to 0.8 wt.% zirconium are added to the AZ91 alloy, containing 6.0 to 11.0 wt.% aluminum, 0.1 to 2.5 wt.% zinc and 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% manganese, to form AZ91-base alloy. This AZ91-base alloy is further added with at least one of 0.1 to 1.5 wt.% antimony and 0.2 to 3.5 wt.% calcium, and 0.1 to 2.5 wt.% strontium and other inevitably impurity elements to form the die-casting magnesium alloy. The magnesium die-cast product is made of such an alloy.
