Abstract

The present invention provides a patent downloading system and method. The patent downloading method includes the following steps: receiving keywords of download and obtaining patent number and patent name of satisfied patent; determining if the satisfied patent has been stored in database; determining if the satisfied patent has been stored in patent database; downloading the satisfied patent from patent website; downloading the satisfied patent from mirror website; setting patent downloading conditions; downloading new patent from patent website periodically; and compressing and storing the downloaded new patent in patent database. The present invention avoids web jams effectively and quickens patent downloading speed to decrease patent downloading time.
