Abstract
The present invention provides a rust preventive for magnesium and/or magnesium alloy comprising at least one member selected from the compounds represented by formula (1) to (2) and salts thereof as the effect component, and the process for producing a part made of magnesium and/or magnesium alloy using such rust preventive. [wherein, R1 represents hydrogen or C1-4alkyl group, R2 represents hydrogen, C1-4alkyl group, mercapto group or hydroxy group, R3 represents hydnzen, C1-4alkyl group or hydroxy group, A represents -N= or -C(R4)=, R4 represents hydrogen or amino group.]
