Abstract
A reflective film for liquid crystal displays is disclosed which creates no bright spot or bright line and has good reflection characteristics. The overall thickness of the sheet is thin, and thus the reflective film can be used for small-sized liquid crystal displays. This reflective film is composed of a layer containing hollow particles and a metal thin film, and has an overall thickness of not more than 155 μm. The layer containing hollow particles further contains a binder resin, and the hollow particle content per 100 parts by mass of the binder resin is not less than 100 parts by mass but not more than 800 parts by mass. This reflective film has an average reflectance of not less than 90% at wavelengths of 400-500 nm, and may preferably have an average reflectance of not less than 90% at wavelengths of 400-700 nm.
