Abstract

The present invention discloses a power-saving apparatus and a method for operation of peripherals, characterized in that a stand-by power control module and a plurality of connecting ports are disposed on a circuit board. The circuit board transmits a stand-by power to the connecting ports through the stand-by power control module. The stand-by power control module is determined to be ON or OFF according to a user interface, such that the stand-by power is cut-off or delivered to the connecting ports.
