Abstract

The present invention provides a process for preparing a porous material having interconnected pores. One or more than one bioresorbable polymer and a low molecular weight oligomer are dissolved in an organic solvent to form a bioresorbable polymer solution. Then, the bioresorbable polymer solution is caused to form a pre-form. Then, drying is conducted to partially or completely remove the organic solvent on the pre-form surface. Then, the pre-form is contacted with a coagulant to form a porous material.
