Mevcut tarifname, yüksek saflıkta gadobutrol hazırlamaya yönelik yeni bir yöntem ile ilgilidir. Mevcut tarifname, ara ürünün saflığı, basit ve yumuşak bir işlemle işlenebildiğinden dolayı ve buna göre, önceki safrabutrolüne göre daha yüksek saflığa sahip olan yüksek saflıkta veya ultra yüksek saflıkta gadobutrol, yüksek verimde hazırlanabidiğinden dolayı büyük ölçekli bir üretime kolaylıkla uygulanabilir.
