The transmission system 108 consists of a pair of traction elements 202, 302, 206, 304 and a driven element 212, 306. One of the traction elements 202, 302 is connected to an internal detonation engine on the hybrid two-wheeled vehicle (100), while the other traction element (206, 304) is connected to an electric motor (210) on the hybrid two-wheeled vehicle (100). On the other hand, the driven member 212, 306 is connected to the drive wheel 106 via a gearbox 220 in the hybrid two-wheeled vehicle 100. The known transmission element 214, 308 facilitates the transfer of the power from the traction elements 202, 302, 206, 304 to the driven element 212, 306.
