Abstract

Düsük seviyede bromla birlestirilmis alev geciktirici içerdigi halde iyilestirilmis yangina mukavemet sergileyen ektrüzyon ürünü, büyük ölçüde kapali polistiren köpükler ifsa edilmistir. Köpükleri hazirlama yöntemleri de ifsa edilmistir. Yöntem polistirenin yeni bir alev geciktirici formülasyonla birlikte ekstrüzyona tabi tutulmasidir. Yeni formülasyon asagidakilerden olusur:a)bir fosfat terkibi, tercihen TPP;b) polistiren agirliginin yaklasik %2,5'inden az miktarda HBCD; ve istege bagli olarak c) dimetildifenilbütan gibi bir akis yükseltici; ekstrüzyon islemi tercihen asagidakilerden seçilen bir köpürtücü ajan kullanir: karbon dioksit, asagidakilerin iki veya daha fazlasinin karisimi: karbon dioksit, su,alkol, eter ve hidrokarbon; veya hidroflorokarbon, alkol ve hidrokarbon karisimi.
