The cardboard box comprises a distribution window (18) for the paper handkerchiefs which is covered by a supple film. A long distribution opening (22) is delimited by two longitudinal edges (24) which are joined at the two longitudinal opposite ends (25) of the opening. Near the longitudinal ends the opening has first and second curved slits (26) and a third longitudinal slit (30).
