Description
It is known that it is difficult to prepare preparations that give a solid emulsion with water and contain grease soaps or sulphonated vegetable oils and a significant amount of mineral oils. These difficulties increase if the preparations that give the emulsion with water are prepared for more or less long storage and, by the nature of their use, they should be free of mineral acids, or their salts, iron salts, etc. The authors believe that a good material to obtain the above preparations, sulfonic acids of petroleum hydrocarbons are obtained, which are obtained from petroleum and its titres by the action of concentrated sulfuric acid on it, while these acids are extracted from distillates or as indicated in Russian These privileges are Nos. 27815, 28889.28839, OR THESE acids are obtained directly from the so-called alkaline waste after refining vaseline or white oils by decomposing the latter with sulfuric acid. The above acids or their salts, under certain conditions, combine with oils and can serve as a preparation for the preparation of aqueous emulsions. The authors found that the aforementioned sulfonic acids, mixed with mineral oils, provide more valuable preparations for their intended use if they are preliminarily purified from sulfuric acid, which is always contained in these products, as well as iron salts and, moreover, if low molecular weight sulfonic acids are separated from them.
According to the proposed method
После обработки растворокobtaining emulsion preparations to isolate all the above impurities that prevent the preparation of good and durable emulsions suitable for applications such as greasing the skin, sulfonic acids are mixed with 5-10% of a solvent, for example xylene, and treated with 10-15% chloride solution soda when heated to 80-100 to remove sulfuric acid, iron salts and low molecular weight acids. After processing the solutions
