Предлагаемый прибор предназначен дл  измерени  давлени  (напр жени ) в сыпучем теле (например, в грунте).The proposed device is intended to measure pressure (voltage) in a loose body (e.g., in the ground).

Основное отличие его от других приборов того же назначени  заключаетс  Б том, что, с целью увеличени  чувствительности, его мембрана выполнена вогнутой.The main difference between it and other devices of the same purpose is that, in order to increase the sensitivity, its membrane is made concave.

Прибор состоит из корпуса 1, вогнутой мембраны 2 и электрическоГО сопротивлени  3. Дл  измерени  давлени  прибор помещают в грунт, а провода от сопротивлени  подвод т к тому месту, откуда производ т измерени . Если грунт не надавливает на мембрану, то она касаетс  сопротивлени  только в одной точке. При возникновении давлени  мембрана прогибаетс  и соприкасаетс  с сопротивлением уже не в одной тбчке, а на некоторой площади, замыка  тем самым накоротко эту часть электрического сопротивлени . По изменению величины сопротивлени  суд т об изменении давлени  на мессдозу, дл  чего она должна быть предварительно соответственно проградуирована.The device consists of a housing 1, a concave membrane 2, and an electrical resistance 3.
