Description

The invention relates to a device for cutting open the lids of cans using an already known support bar, with its V-shaped curved edge worn on the edge of the box, on which the cane is positioned by means of a knob. the wheel on the edge of the box requires at least swinging or other movement of the knife or wheel to move it out of its original position, allowing it to generally put the bar on the edge of the box. Regardless of this design, the fixture is somewhat complicated in view of the need to use a knife or wheel guide, so that the fixture cannot be made small enough.

The purpose of the present invention is to eliminate these drawbacks. The invention essentially consists in the fact that the support bar is not in any constructive relationship with the knife, and therefore it can be easily put on the edge of the box, and also the knife is made high and wedge shaped as a special part like a tongue, be advanced along the inner wall along the edge of the box into the V-shaped end of the support bar accordingly. This produces a clip of the support bar while simultaneously pressing the wheel against the edge of the box in the radial and vertical direction with respect to the edge of the box, so that when the wheel is rotated, the support bar moves along the wedge-shaped part on the back side of the knife, and the latter goes into the box.

Such a relative movement of the support bar and the knife is possible until the said parts automatically hold each other, so that the movement of the wheel on the edge of the wheel box accompanies the movement of the knife hitting the cover.
