Description

A hand grenade of the sample of 1914, by its design, of a combat platoon does not justify the requirements imposed on it; besides, it is extremely dangerous in circulation. The proposed release device, which aims to destroy these drawbacks, is that the drummer is provided with a nipple that falls into the helical groove of the rod head, which is rotated by a helical spring and held against rotation by a latch.

The drummer 7 (Fig. 1) is provided with a knee with a nipple 6, which, when the hammer is cocked, ends in an annular groove on the head 5 (Fig. 2) of the rod 2 in the grenade handle, which ends in a screw slot 5a. The rod 2 is connected to the coil spring 4 (Fig. 3), which rotates it and is cocked using the head 9. In addition, the rod 2 has a crankshaft

the strap 3 (Fig. 4) to hold it in the cocked position with the aid of the latch 1, which is retracted from the groove of the strap 3 before throwing the hand grenade.

When using the trigger device, it is necessary to press the latch 1. When it comes out of the groove of the bar 3, the rod 2 will receive a rotational movement through the spiral spring 4. When the rod 2 is rotated, the head 5 will also rotate and reach the extreme position, i.e. when the end cutting will be against the tip of the knee with the nipple 6, which, being carried away by the combat spring 8, will come out of the engagement and thereby enable the striker (not shown in the drawing) to break the primer.

In order to put the drummer on the combat platoon, you need to put the nipple 6 of the knee against the end of the slot 5a of the head 5 of the rod 2, and then rotate the head 9 until the groove formed by the rod 2 and the bar 3 turns against the latch 1 and the line on the head 9 will not be against the letter B (which means platoon). When the latch 1 is applied to itself, it will enter the groove formed by the rod 2 and the bar 3, which is what sets the striker to the combat platoon.
