Description

Machines for straightening flat metal products using vertical and horizontal right-handed rolls are already known. The horizontal rolls are usually arranged in pairs against each other, with the upper ones being pressed with weights or the like, and vertical rolls are set in a checkerboard pattern.

In order to improve the performance of similar machines when straightening flat metal products of figure outline, it is proposed to install vertical rolls between horizontal ones so that they and others alternate with each other. Under the order of the applicants, with such a device, very good results were obtained at the Lyubertsy Plant of Agricultural Machines when straightening finger bars.

To prevent the upper roll from dropping below a certain position, buffer 18 serves. A front pair of drive rolls pulls material and throws it out of the machine.
