В устройстве, предназначенном дл механизации работы по св зыванию соломенных хомутин, дл предварительного обматывани св занной соломы шпагатом применен барабан со шпулей дл шпагата , пропускаемого через отверстие внутрь барабана на хомутину. На барабане укреплено зубчатое колесо, служащее дл сообщени барабану вращени от зубчатой передачи. Хомутины зажимаютс во врем обмотки подпружиненными зажимами, помещенными на барабане и протаскиваютс через зажимы в барабан при помощи зубчатого валика. Во врем обработки хомутина выгибаетс при помощи рычагас роликом на конце, расположенного в середине барабана.
