Предлагаемое приспособление, прикрепл емое сбоку или спереди к теодолиту, выполнено в виде помещенного в кожухе поворотного барабана с нанесенной на нем диаграммой дл  отсчета через прорез в кожухе превышени  точек и шкалой дл  отсчета проложени  линий.
