Description

In the present invention, two knives are used: a spiral knife fixed on a rotating roller serves to remove the core from the eggplants, and a disk cut to cut off their end parts.

The device consists of a spiral knife 1 mounted on a rotating roller 2. The knife receives a forward movement inside the eggplant from the cam 12 of the roller 17, driven by the working pulley 18. On the roller 17 is mounted a conical brush 13 which rotates the gear 14, rotates the roller 15 and the gear 16 mounted on it. The gear 16 engages the gear 3, which in turn engages the gear 4 mounted on the roller 5. This roller rotates the blade knife b, which serves to cut the end portions of the eggplants. For automatic feeding of the product to the spiral knife 1, there is a cotsreier 7, arranged in the form of a groove, and to hold it in the desired position — a clamping bar 8 and a spring 9.

1. A device for removing the core of eggplants, characterized by the use of a spiral knife 1 fixed to the rotating roller 2 and receiving translational movement inside the eggplant from the cam 12 roller 17.

2. In the fixture described in paragraph 1, use a rotating disk knife 6 for cutting off the end portions of the eggplants.
