Description

In the proposed device for washing the logs with water before sawing, they used self-guided, rolled-up, perforated pipes fed by water from a pipeline equipped with a tap, opened by a log passing through the logging line, to be washed.

The perforated tubes 1 of the proposed device are coiled into a ring and attached to the chute of the self-choke, through which the log to be sawn is fed. The pipes 1 are adjacent pipes 2, connected by means of a crane 4 to the pipe 3 of the water supply network. The crane 4 carries the plug 5, at the turn of which it opens and to which the load 7 is suspended on the rope b by means of the spring 8.

A log to be sawn passing through the chute of the chute deflects the plug 5 of the tap 4, which opens the latter, and the water

flows from pipe 3 into pipes 2 and perforated pipes 1, at which the passing log is washed with this water. The plug 5 remains in the deflected position during the entire passage of the log past it, and when the rear end of the last one passes, it returns to the initial position with the weight 7 and closes the water supply from the pipeline 3 to the perforated pipes 1.
