Description

In the proposed device for improving heat transfer in boiling tubes of steam boilers, tubular inserts of two half pipes with screw ribs on the outer surface, inserted into boiling tubes and interconnected, are used so that between the edges they form slots for the passage of steam; together with the said tubular inserts, inserts made of bent spiral-like bands are used.

A tubular insert (Fig. 1) is inserted inside the heating tube 1, consisting of two half pipes 2 and 3 (Fig. 2), interconnected so that there are 4 slots between their edges; on the outer side of the semi-tube equipped with screw ribs. The water moving from the top down along the screw ribs, under the influence of centrifugal force, adjoins the walls of the boiling tube, and the bubbles of the formed vapor through the slits 4 accumulate

at the center of the boiling tube and along the inner tube formed by the half pipes 9, 3, they rise to the top. Together with the said semi-tubes, inserts of spiral-bent strips (Fig. 3) are inserted into the heating pipe with an arbitrary distance between the two inserts.

1. A device for improving heat transfer in boiling tubes of steam boilers, characterized by the use of two semi-tubes 2 and 3, provided with spiral ribs on the outside and inserted into the heating tubes so that between the edges of semi-tubes 2 and 3 there are slots 4 for the passage of steam.

2. The modification of the device described in paragraph 1, characterized in that, together with the tubular inserts indicated in paragraph 1, inserts of screw-shaped bent strips are used with an arbitrary distance between the two inserts (Fig. 3).
