Description

Tree filing from the root is done in the usual manual or mechanical way. With the usual manual method, the tree cannot be cut down at ground level, since it is inconvenient for workers to move their arms close to the ground surface, so part of the wood remains unused. When mechanically, trees are falling apart near the ground surface, but due to the large weight of the installation ,: working with a mechanical saw in the forest is difficult, and besides skilled workers are required to maintain the engine. To eliminate these drawbacks, a hand-held portable machine is offered, consisting of a stand with pliers attaching the machine to the tree, and a cross member for guiding the carriage along it, abutting the carrier saw frame.

The saw feed is carried out with the help of a load connected by cables thrown over the guide blocks.

A stand 1, with armrests 2 secured to it, on the handles of which the screw 3 acts, is attached to the tree at ground level (Fig. 1-2). The saw 8 is fixed on the ends of the frame 9 bent down and supported at one end by non-pinching 11 and on the other legs 10 of the frame 13 (Fig. 1-3), hanging on the rollers 14 attached to the rack 1. Carriage 19 can move along the cross member 11, abutting into frame 9 and connected with the load 16 thrown over 18 blocks with a cable 17.

The wood is sawed with a message, using the handle 12, the return movement of the frame 13 with the saw 8, which is fed as the saw carriage 19 moves along the cross member under the action of the load 16, and the sleeve 15 serves as a guide for the frame 13.
