Description
The invention relates to medical equipment and can be used in the surgical treatment of inflammatory processes of the abdominal cavity.
The aim of the invention is to provide drainage and administration of drug granules to prevent absorption of decay products.
1The drawing shows the proposed device. 1
The device consists of a conductor 1 with a club-shaped thickening at the end, which is freely installed in the drainage tube 2, occupying a third of its lumen and a cover 3 made of fine-mesh 1 capron (cell diameter 0.1-0.3 mm), which is a reservoir for sorbent 4 and ensuring the introduction of the sorbent into the cavity and the spread of the metrogyl adsorbed on the sorbent into the abscess, as well as the removal of the spent sorbent from the cavity. The presence of a conductor 1 of inert material ensures accurate and low-traumatic multiple insertion of the tube 2 into the abscess cavity, which allows 2 passive and active aspiration of the abscess contents. A nylon cover-tank allows you to place a loose sorbent with a metrogyl in the abscess cavity and provides sorption of microbes and their toxins 3 on the sorbent with simultaneous diffusion of the metrogyl into the surrounding tissue.
Thus, the device is intended for the introduction of granular medicinal substances (sorbent with metrogyl or antibiotics adsorbed on it) into the abscesses of the abdominal cavity in order to reduce general intoxication due to sorption of microbes and their toxins by the sorbent, a direct effect on the walls of the cavity and the surrounding infiltrate due to exit metrogyl.
At the same time, active or passive aspiration of the wound is carried out. A significant advantage is the possibility of an early and multiple change of drainage with its installation in the same place.
