FIELD: oil producing industry; applicable in development of massive oil pools characterized by significant heterogeneity of reservoir. SUBSTANCE: method for displacement from massive oil pool includes injection into formation dome of gas (nitrogen) possessing the maximum pressure of mixing with oil. Injected into zone of leading advance of displacement fronts is gas (dry or fat hydrocarbon gas or their mixtures) with more lower pressure of mixing with oil. In this case, gas is injected with flow rate lower than that of injection of nitrogen. EFFECT: higher oil recovery due to provision of uniform displacement profile. 2 cl
