Description

 The present invention relates to a device for connecting two parts of a G-shaped element of an economizer among themselves, using wedge gate valves for this purpose.

FIG. Figure 1 shows the connection of the lower ends of the tubes 2, 2 of the G-shaped economizer element. When tightening the nut 8, both the flanges 5 and the hatch holes 9 are sealed at the same time; the latter are compacted using caps 4 and gaskets 12.

FIG. 2 depicts a modification of the proposed connection, in the absence of special hatches, consisting in the fact that between the flanges 1, 1 of pipes 5 and b there is a wedge valve 4 in the form of a ring (figure 2), fitted with gaskets on both sides (such as drawing not shown). The density of the joint is ensured by pressing the nuts 3 onto the yoke 2, which cover the flanges 1, 1 in places 8 with their paws. Bolts 7, carrying nuts 3, are poured into the body of the valve 4.

FIG. Figure 3 shows the connection of two pipes 5 and b of a CJ-shaped element by means of a special pipe 4 fixed by means of a series of bolts 7 (one bolt is shown in the drawing) and a wedge 3 which is blocked between the wall of pipe 5 and pipe 4.

FIG. 4 shows the connection of two adjacent pipes 3 and 4 of a C1-shaped element by means of a wedge valve in the form of a hollow conical plug 1, provided with a cut rod at one end. A nut 5 is screwed onto the latter, pressing the yoke 4, with its paws abutting against the wall of the pipe 3. Windows 6 and 7 and 8 are arranged for the passage of water in the stopper 1. The pipes are cleaned through special hatchways 2, 2 after removing the stopper 1.

FIG. 5 shows the connection of pipes 4 and 5 of the U-shaped element in the absence of special other channels; In this case, the role of such is fulfilled by the holes for the conical plugs 1 and 3, which sit on the rod 2. The density of the connection is achieved by using an elastic gasket 8, by tightening the nut that presses the yoke.
