Abstract

FIELD: checking and repair of pipelines. SUBSTANCE: device has pneumatic drive 1, rod 4 whose cylinder 2 carries support belts 12 and 13 made in form of articulated parallelograms 14 and 15 connected with radial extension drives 16 and 17. Rod 4 is made up of two pieces 9 and 10 interconnected by ball joint 11 with turning interlock mechanism made in form of ring pneumatic cylinder 34 with piston 35 thrusting against washer 36 installed on rod piece 10 square to its longitudinal axis. Device is moved alternately wedging belt 13 and moving rod 4 with belt 12 forward, with subsequent unwedging of belt 12 and pulling cylinder 2 with belt 13. To negotiate curvilinear section of pipeline air is bled from space 37, as a result piston 35 recedes from washer 36 and ball joint 11 acquires freedom of rotation. EFFECT: provision of free negotiation of curvilinear and stepped sections of pipeline. 2 cl, 6 dwg
