Description

In the proposed hollow machine, knives for killing plants and loosening the soil are strengthened, pivotally on the processes of links of an endless chain and, when the latter moves, are immersed in the soil at a certain angle of inclination, which is achieved by a fixed guide to the rollers, which are provided their non-working ends.

. On axle 6 of the running wheel 4, mounted in frame 5, sits sprocket 1, which with chain 8, wheel P and sprocket 9 sitting on axis 10, transmits rotation to the polishing unit and axle 12. The polishing apparatus has a fixed guide 17 and knives 27 for loosening soil and destroying plants. Knives 27 are pivotally fixed on the processes of individual links of endless chains 23, driven from axle 10 through wheels 20 and rollers 21, and at their non-working ends are equipped with rollers 28. The polishing apparatus is supplied with a support track consisting of wheels 18 on axis 10, rollers 19, sitting on axis 18a and endless chains 22, enveloping them. The axes 18a and 10 of the polishing mechanism are fastened between each other by the stop bars 16, and the polishing mechanism is fastened to the frame 5 of the full masking rod 15.

When the maschine moves along the surface, the floor of the chain 23 is set in motion, and the knives 27 freely injected to its processes before entering the soil are set at a certain angle of inclination, due to the rollers 28 under the guide pad 17 and are immersed in the soil and also move in it from this angle. The platform 17 is intended not only to establish the angle of inclination of the knives, but also to keep the knives from turning as they pass through the soil. The speed of movement of the knives 27 in the soil depends on the size of the wheels 7 and 9. The direction of the machine can be adjusted using the help of t 3, 30 connected to the front end 31 of the machine.

The full machine may have, in addition to the polishing apparatus, located behind the traveling wheel, anglogic apparatus, located on its side. The side units are attached to the frame 5 and are driven from the axis 6 by means of an intermediate shaft 12 and chain gears 13, 14.
