Изобретение относитс  к металообработке и может быть использовано при изготовлении внутренних резьб методом пластического деформировани  Известен метчик, у которого на заборной части выполнены площадки по наружному диаметру витков резъбы, причем площадки расположены параллельно оси метчика 13. Недостатком известного метчика  вл етс  уменьшение его стойкости. Это происходит в результате скола вершин деформирующих граней в процес се пластического деформировани  всле дствие того, что усили  деформации, действующие на площадки, направлены к ним под УГЛОМ, что вызывает по вление помимо нормальной силы еще и тангенциальной силы. Возникновение тангёнц альной силы обусловливаетс  тем, что площадки расположенны под углом к линии угла подъема витков резьбы метчика. Цель изобретени  - увеличение сто кости инструмента. Поставленна  цель достигаетс  тем что площадки, расположенные на вершинах витков резьбы заборной части метчика, выполнены перпендикул рными: углу подъема бинтовой линии резьбы. На чертеже схематически показана коническа  заборна  часть метчика. На заборной части 1 витки резьбы 2 имеют по наружному диаметру площадки 3. Площадки выполнены перпендикул рными углу подъема винтовой линии резьбы метчика. В поцессе пластического деформировани  металла возникающие усили  направлены по линии угла подъема резьбы, т.е. перпендикул рно площадкам на витках-резьбы заборной части. Этим исключаетс  по вление тангенциальных сил и снижаютс  суммарные усили  на к аждый виток резьбы метчика , что предотвращает выкрашивание вершин деформирующих граней метчиков в процессе пластического деформировани  металла, вследствие чего увеличиваетс  стойкость инйтрумента.The invention relates to metalworking and can be used in the manufacture of internal threads by plastic deformation. The purpose of the invention is to increase the tool cost. The goal is achieved by the fact that the platforms located on the tops of the threads of the intake part of the tap are made perpendicular: the angle of elevation of the bandage line of the thread. The drawing schematically shows the conical intake part of the tap. On the intake part 1, the threads of the thread 2 are on the outer diameter of the platform 3. The platforms are made perpendicular to the elevation angle of the tap thread helix. In the process of plastic deformation of metal, the resulting forces are directed along the line of the elevation angle of the thread, i.e. perpendicular to the pads on the threads of the intake part. This eliminates the occurrence of tangential forces and reduces the total force on each turn of the tap thread, which prevents chipping of the tops of the deforming faces of the taps during plastic deformation of the metal, as a result of which the tool life increases.
