Podstata technického riešenia spočíva v riešení horného mechanizmu otvárania posuvnej steny alebo bočnice, ktorý je založený na kombinácii jednoduchého odklopenia po krivke s maximálnou elimináciou trenia medzi segmentmi, ktoré si zároveň nevyžaduje žiadne pomocné prvky. Horný mechanizmus pozostáva zvedenia hlavne kruhového prierezu umiestneného medzi kladkami upevnenými cez ložisko na unášači upevnenom na posuvnej stene. Pootočením hriadeľa sa po kruhovej dráhe odklápa posuvná stena do otvorenej polohy. Po odklopení posuvnej steny a jej následným posuvom sa začnú odvaľovať kladky po vedení.
