Abstract

Ring for fastening a pipe to a wall comprising a cylindrical ferrule (1) with a longitudinal slot (3) and folded portions (4, 5) extending therealong and a brace (2) to be mounted on the wall and having, on its non-parallel side, folded portions (9, 8) for cooperating with the folded portions (4, 5) of the ferrule (1). The slot (3) and/or the brace (2) have a trapezoidal shape, so that when the ferrule is arranged about a pipe and is inserted from the top into the brace (2), with the folds (4, 5) of the ferrule cooperating with the folds (9, 8) of the brace, the ferrule (1) and the pipe are held by a self-locking action.
