Predstoječi izum se nanaša na hladilne naprave, podrobneje pa na tesnilne elemente, ki so izdelani iz plastičnih mas in namenjeni za tesnenje med vrati in ohišjem hladilnika. Predmet izuma je po mednarodni patentni klasifikaciji uvrščen v razred F25D 23/08.The present invention relates to refrigeration appliances, and more specifically to sealing elements made of plastics and intended for sealing between the door and the housing of the refrigerator. V proizvodnji hladilnikov in zamrzovalnikov za gospodinjstvo je poznano, da se vrši tesnenje pri zaprtih vratih med naslonom na okvirju ohišja in vrati s pomočjo mehastega tesnila, izdelanega iz mehkega materiala, kot je plastična masa, pritrjenega vzdolž celotnega notranjega roba vrat. Pomanjkljivost tovrstnih tesnil je, da v tračnem delu tesnila izveden klinasto profiliran greben vedno ne zagotavlja pozicioniranja notranje stene vrat na tesnilu zaradi dimenzijskih in oblikovnih odstopanj, ki so prisotna pri masovni izdelavi notranje stene vrat iz plastičnih materialov.
