Abstract

Apparatus comprises a container (3) having upper and lower half shells (4, 5) each with a vertically rotating axis; a material inlet (6) which opens out into the inner chamber of the container; a material outlet (10); a stirring device (12) with a shaft and a stirring organ (17). The material inlet is arranged in the upper half shell and the material outlet in the lower half shell so that the lower half shell can be separated from the remaining part of the container. The shaft of the stirring device rotates about a vertical axis or about an axis inclined by 30 degrees and is connected to a drive (8) arranged on the upper half shell. Preferred Features: The apparatus further comprises a vibrator (13) whose shaft rotates about a vertical axis (15) and is connected to a drive (9) arranged on the upper half shell. The upper half shell is inserted into the roof (2) of a production chamber (50). Both half shells are connected together by a hinge (20) so that the lower half shell can pivot about a horizontal axis (21).
