Abstract

The carriage (10) has rollers (18,19,20,22,25,26) running along the upper surfaces of a rail on each side of a lengthwise slot. The number and positioning of the rollers are such that when travelling over a branch of the rail, at least one roller always rests on one upper surface on both sides of the slot. The carriage has a first and second pair of rollers on each side of the lengthwise slot. The internal distance apart between the rollers of the second pair corresponds to the width of the lengthwise slot.
