Abstract

The console (1) has a vertical rod (4) supporting a horizontal beam (5) for a gangway (2) at one end. The rod is pivotably mounted in T-shaped fasteners (7) at opposite ends, each fastener containing at least one cavity on either side of the end of the rod for receiving screws used to secure the fastener to a wall.
