Abstract

Gear movements in a gearbox (1) are dampened using a device (3) connected to a gear shaft (4) inside the gearbox moving backwards and forwards. The damping device is housed inside the gearbox above the oil level (21) and is supplied with oil from the gearbox, used as working fluid for the device.
