Abstract

The present invention relates to a washing device for washing of vehicle wheels, wherein the washing device includes a washing-liquid container (1) and a washing chamber (2), wherein the washing device includes a rotary device (7) for rotating a vehicle wheel (5), placed in the washing chamber (2), relative to at least one flush and blast nozzle (8) provided in said washing chamber (2), wherein a washing liquid (3) containing granules (4) is located in the washing-liquid container (1), said granules being adapted to provide a blasting effect during washing of the vehicle wheel (5), and wherein a pump device (13) is provided to bring the washing liquid (3) containing granules (4) located in the washing-liquid container (1) to flow to the flush and blast nozzle (8) and therefrom as at least one flush and blast jet (9) towards the vehicle wheel (5) placed in the washing chamber (2) for washing and blasting said wheel during rotation thereof by the rotary device (7). The flush and blast nozzle (8) is provided movable between an upper end position (A) and a lower end position (B) and emits during movement between said end positions (A and B) a flush and blast jet (9) which will move over a processing area (C) extending between upper and lower portions of the vehicle wheel (5) so that said processing area (C) covers the entire vehicle wheel (5) since said wheel (5) is rotating.
