Abstract

The operator for the dialled application includes a means for identifying that a dialled connection has been achieved for this application, the same means being used to order a communication server to establish a wide-band (e.g. ISDN) connection to this application. A temporary IP address is allocated and sent to the dialled application by the server, and the application then uses this temporary address to send information directly to the dialling application.
