Abstract

The test method involves positioning a motor vehicle (2) under test on a platform (1). The vehicle is aligned opposite a horizontal plane. The motor vehicle under test is so equipped, that the flow relationships and the temperature relationships are present which occur by operation in the vehicle's inner and outer configuration. The motor vehicle (2) under test is blasted at the front with a snow jet from a snow cannon (3), with an ambient temperature below 0 degree C over a selected time period. The amount of snow crystals deposited in the test motor vehicle from the snow cannon is measured and evaluated.
