Abstract

An inductive component comprises: a core (1A, 1B) made of magnetic material, a first group of windings (2), and a second group of windings (3A, 3B). The magnetic field produced in the core by the first group of windings (2) is orthogonal to that produced by the second group of windings (3A, 3B). The first group of windings comprises a winding implemented as printed wiring (2) on a first circuit board (4), the first circuit board has at least one hole (5, 6, 7) for leading at least a part (8, 9, 10) of the magnetic core (1A, 1B) through the board (4). The second group of windings comprises: at least one winding portion implemented as printed wiring (3A) on a second circuit board (11), at least one winding portion implemented as printed wiring (3B) on a third circuit board (12), and means (13, 14) for connecting the winding portions. The second group of windings are implemented on the second and third circuit boards (11, 12), into a second winding through the first circuit board (4) and/or the magnetic core (1A, 1B). Ground plane parts (17, 18) may be provided on the outer surfaces of the second and third circuit boards (11, 12) to shield the component.
