Abstract
In order to accomplish a longitudinal joint of polymer lined aluminium with induction heat the current in an inductor (2) at the joint can be concentrated in that several parallel current conducting conductors (4, 5) are laid next to each other. Especially, four litz wires (5) can be laid in the web of an I-beam (4), which constitutes a fifth conductor and a means for applying pressure on the joint.
