Abstract

To the one cylinder (3), under control by a one-way valve, gas is fed from a gas source (25) into the cylinder space temporarily enlarged by the piston movement. Gas in the opposite cylinder space is compressed and pressed out to a tapping-off point (26). This is produced by pressure fluid from a hydraulic pump (20) or similar being alternatingly feed to and drained from the two spaces on opposite sides of the piston (11) in the other cylinder (4). A control valve (23) changes over the flow when the end position of the piston is reached and the dynamic and static pressure in the pressure condition is altered.
