Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the exposure caused by buckling and centrifugal force at the time of displacement of a container by arranging a holding device on a feed-in station and providing a roof or floatable roof fixed so as to be movable along the length of a station chain and horizontally feeding the packing container into the station chain. SOLUTION: At a feed-in station 3, a holding device 5 guides a packing container 6 by an elastic guide plate 7 to hold the rear part of the packing container 6 at a predetermined position. The roof 8 extending along a station chain 1 fixed or floated in a movable manner is provided. The station chain 1 advances the packing container 6 intermittently at a high speed by an indexing stage. At this time, the packing container 6 shows a tendency flying out to the outside by centrifugal force but can be held by the roof 8. One end part 9 of the roof 8 is fixed and the other end part 10 thereof is fixed in a movable manner by a spring 11 and the packing container 6 is sucked toward the roof 8 and the buckling of one side panel of the packing container 6 can be prevented by a carrier 2.
