Abstract

The support sheet (1) has the same width as the mattress and free end parts (2,3) which extend beyond the length of the mattress. These free end parts have fixed and/or releasable handgrips (4) for lifting the sheet with the mattress upon it. The handgrips hold the support sheet in a stretched state with the mattress on it, and the support sheet has components (5) for fixing the position of the mattress placed on it.
