Abstract

The subject of the present invention is a trailer suspension for mixed rail-road transport, which comprises hydraulic rams connecting axle arms to the chassis and in which each axle arm (3) comprises a flexible travel limit stop (8) capable of cooperating with a counter-stop (9) carried by the chassis (1) of the trailer. According to the invention the counter-stop (9) is pivotably mounted in relation to the chassis (1) and carries a finger (13) capable of retaining an element (12) solidly fixed to the axle (4) when the latter is in the top position. The suspension comprises means (11) for causing the counter-stop (9) to pivot, thereby freeing the said element (12) and hence the axle. <IMAGE>
