Abstract

The invention concerns a method and a device for accelerating the drying in foamed or fermented plastic products (15) of contact surfaces joined by means of a water-based glue. According to the invention the drying takes place in a chamber (7) to which there is supplied, on the one hand, microwave energy to rapidly heat the water and transform it into vapour, and on the other hand air for the purpose of removing that vapour.
