Wireless digital telephone system comprising at least one emulated base station plus one or more subscriber stations, where the emulated base station comprises a station which is of the same kind as the subscriber station but has the ability to initiate a synchronization process, whereby it is activated to allocate time slots to subscriber stations within the framework of an amplitude signal by monitoring for positive edges in the signal. <IMAGE>
