Abstract

A self-wringing mop for use in cleaning floors comprises a handle 2 having a bifurcated member 15 mounted at its lower end carrying wringing rollers 28 and a sponge member 5, 6 mounted below the rollers and connected to a lever 3 pivotably mounted on the handle by a rod 4 located exterioriy of the handle and adapted for removable coupling to the sponge member. The lever may be provided with hooked ends 9, 17 to facilitate dismantling. <IMAGE>
