Abstract

When the regulator (9) is activated, the valve body (6,6a) is moved to locate against a valve seat (5). The coupling between the regulator and the valve body comprises a rotatably located component (8) connected to the regulator (9), which has a projection (8a) fitted at a distance from its centre of rotation. The projection (8a) engages in a recess (6b) in the valve body (6,6a), the body being movable in the longitudinal direction of the shower hand grip.
