Abstract

The invention relates to a device for marking animal skins, especially of pig carcasses, which skins are needed for further processing in the leather working industry. The aim of the invention is to reduce the amount of work involved in marking the animal skins and to save labour, material and energy. The object of the invention is to carry out marking of the animal skins while the skinning process is still taking place. The object is achieved according to the invention, in that parts of the piercing tool are arranged in a clamping strip which is fastened to the inside of the cutting roller and a clamping rail which is fastened to a clamping shaft. <IMAGE>
