Abstract

Method and apparatus for mechanised planting of young trees, includes an applicator (11) carried by a vehicle and vertically movable in relation thereto, said applicator being connected with a magazine (29) for supplying plants (28) one by one to said applicator. The applicator (11) can be adjusted at or above ground level and is adapted to cooperate with a rotary cultivator (19) also carried on said vehicle, serving to build up a heap of soil on the ground and around said applicator, while the applicator and a plant contained therein are held in the said position.
